XD Series Single 500 Amp Heavy Duty Battery Switch/Mechanical Contactor
Features:
- Silver Alloy Contact Points support high ampere/full voltage switching capability versus legacy rotary style switches.
- Expandable: Integrate the 8700 XD Battery Disconnect easily with XD Series FLEX/ACR/LVD relays via using optional 8790 Link and 8791 Cross Link Busbars for easy integration with other Single, Dual, or Triple Circuit XD relays.
- Terminal Stud Protection: Included protective cover with convenient label recesses ensures no accidental shorts occur and allows for easy identification of circuits long term.
- Bullet-proof Construction: Sealed to IP67/IP6K9K, high-temperature electronics and materials allow mounting anywhere. Stainless steel cable lug studs. Large mounting holes accept 1/4-20 / M6 attachment hardware.
- Intuitive Manual Control: Bright yellow knob and intuitively easy-to-read on/off label simplifies operation and awareness of the state of manual override and whether the device is being left in a locked off or locked on state.
- Ignition Protected: Safe for installation in gasoline-powered boats and other combustible installation environments.
- Sealed IP67 Construction keeps moisture out, and the integrated Gore-Tex pressure regulation vent increases its ability to operate reliably for long-term harsh environment operation.

3. Do you provide product manuals or installation guides?
Every product ships with the original manufacturer’s manual. Digital copies and detailed installation guides are typically available on the brand’s website.
Warranty & Guarantee
1. Does my purchase include a warranty?
Yes — every order includes the full manufacturer warranty. Coverage length varies by brand (typically 1–3 years for Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, Humminbird, Furuno, and others).
2. How do I register for warranty coverage?
Register directly with the manufacturer using your unit’s serial number. Manufacturer registration is the fastest path to warranty support if you ever need it.
3. What does the manufacturer warranty cover?
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Damage from impact, improper installation, or saltwater corrosion (without protection) may be excluded. Check brand-specific terms in your unit’s documentation.
4. Can I extend the warranty?
Some manufacturers offer extended-coverage programs through their registration portals. We don’t sell third-party warranty programs.

1. How fast does my order ship?
Orders placed before 4pm EST Monday–Friday ship the same business day via UPS from our NJ or FL warehouses. Continental US delivery typically takes 3–7 business days for Economy.
