    SDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 3.5" x 7/8" *2-Pack

    Standard Duty Orbital (SDO) pads are designed to offer the same great foams as the HDO line without the dual-layer construction and are suitable for all random orbital DA polishers with a center ventilated backing plate. The center hole provides a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam, reducing surface temperatures, making it less likely to damage the paint.

    Consistent performance, firmness throughout the heat cycle, and user experience. Foams provide maximum durability and consistency when polishing with a long-throw polisher.

    Benefits:

    • Correction - Blue pads are used for Heavy defects, harder paint surfaces, and deep etching. Use with medium to heavy cutting compounds.
    • Tapered Edge – Prevents pad rolling and provides great pad rotation. Great for curved and contoured panels. Allows for precision polishing in tight areas.
    • Center Ventilated Cooling Chamber – Dissipates heat away from the center of the pad, reducing temperatures and increasing durability. The system also allows for perfect pad alignment.
    • Designed Together – The SDO system pairs perfectly with our low lint wool heavy cutting pads made of knitted prewashed lambswool.

    Yes — every order includes the full manufacturer warranty. Coverage length varies by brand (typically 1–3 years for Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, Humminbird, Furuno, and others).

    2. How do I register for warranty coverage?

    Register directly with the manufacturer using your unit’s serial number. Manufacturer registration is the fastest path to warranty support if you ever need it.

    3. What does the manufacturer warranty cover?

    Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Damage from impact, improper installation, or saltwater corrosion (without protection) may be excluded. Check brand-specific terms in your unit’s documentation.

    4. Can I extend the warranty?

    Some manufacturers offer extended-coverage programs through their registration portals. We don’t sell third-party warranty programs.
